Theme app block setup guide

Follow this onboarding to activate Suitly in your theme, configure the block, and preview it correctly.

1. Choose the theme where you want to install Suitly.

Activate

  1. Open Online Store -> Themes -> Customize.
  2. Go to a Product template.
  3. Inside Product information, click Add block -> Apps -> Suitly.
  4. Save.

Configure

  1. Select the Suitly block in the editor sidebar.
  2. Adjust button text, colors, and border radius.
  3. Save and preview a product page.

Deactivate

  1. Open the same Product template in the editor.
  2. Remove the Suitly block (or disable app embed).
  3. Save.

Use the in-app onboarding deep link to jump directly to the selected theme editor and preview immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the widget work?

The Suitly widget asks customers 4 quick questions about their style profile. Then our AI analyzes the current product and returns a personalized recommendation with clear explanations.

What counts as a query?

A query is counted when a customer completes the questionnaire and receives a recommendation. If the same customer views the same product again within 24 hours, cached results are reused.

Can I customize the widget appearance?

Yes. You can customize the button text, colors, and border radius directly in the Shopify theme editor.

Is there a spending limit for extra queries?

Yes. Each paid plan has a monthly spending cap for extra queries to prevent unexpected charges. You can request a higher cap in Shopify after approval.

Which products should show the widget?

By default, the widget appears on all products. You can limit it to specific collections from the Settings page inside Suitly.

What happens when I reach my query limit?

Additional queries are billed at your plan's per-query rate. You can also upgrade your plan for more included queries.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Open the Plans & Billing section in Suitly, choose the plan you want, and confirm the Shopify billing approval flow.

Is customer data secure?

Yes. Customer profile data is used only to generate recommendations, sent over HTTPS, and handled according to our privacy policy.
